Our didgeridoo workshops are a great fun experience for everyone!
We hold them from 11 til 11.30, Monday to Friday mornings.
These are the only didgeridoo workshops in the world presented by internationally acclaimed didgeridoo player Andrew Langford.
Come in and enjoy a half-hour workshop on one of the world’s oldest instruments.
What’s included in your workshop
Andrew will give you an introduction to:
- Making basic sounds
- Breathing techniques
- The history of the didgeridoo
The didgeridoo sound is created by vibrating the lips.
Constant pressure is produced by a circular breathing technique which is maintained by breathing through the nose and pushing the air from the lungs, hence the sound is uninterrupted.
The tongue, lips and breathing combine to create energetic rhythmic patterns.
Remember, this is a lesson – so come along prepared to learn a new skill.
Bookings are required so phone the theatre direct on 08 89530826.
Didgeridoos are provided for the lesson/workshop.
